About Us

I am Wes Phillips, The Peoples Pit Master... I've been a student of the smoke for nearly 20 years with a passion for barbecue and live-fire cooking from the early days at the helm of a high-volume grill shop to learning all about BBQ on my back porch. I've competed in competitions for the MBN and the GBA, as well as judging for both. My social media groups impact 100 thousand people worldwide. I love learning and teaching about BBQ and live-fire cooking through my podcast, classes, restaurants and restaurant take overs.

My 20 year old daughter and I each had your smoked pimento mac-n-cheese at The Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational BBQ, and it was amazing. She is a mac-n-cheese snob and she was all over it. Of course I was too! And the brisket I had was on point. Especially as vending brisket, in the cold and rain. I know how hard it is to crank out large quantities of brisket and keep it right. Yours was comp worthy. Well done Burnt Bermuda BBQ!
